The "hardwire" model bolts directly to the motorcycle battery, eliminating the need to remember to install or recharge the transponder. The amperage draw is only 1/10th of a milliamp. Your motorcycle must have a working charging system. Purchase price: $419.95.

The "rechargeable" transponder is removable and must be recharged before each weekend use. The transponder unit has a built-in battery and the unit recharges in the included charging station. The mounting bracket remains zip tied to the upper forks.. Purchase price: $449.95. Extra zip tie brackets: $9.95 ea.

Rechargeable units are available for rent. Weekend rates, no matter how many days of practice or racing, are $75.00. Contact Tom Young in advance to reserve a unit.
