I weigh between 195 and 200 pounds... That means that I need to do everything I can to ensure that I am getting ALL 30 HP of my ninja 250 race bike to work for me on the track. I bought and installed this 415 race chain kit after seeing it on a few of my competitor's bikes up in Washington state. They worked for a few months with Mark Yeoman of Aftermarketcycles.com to develop this kit. The end result is a super lightweight and friction reducing chain/ sprocket combo that is vastly better than the stock setup and better than the other race options out there.

I was hesitant to buy this because I thought it couldn't possibly make that much of a difference. I was wrong.. !
With my stock ninja chain / sprockets I could put the bike on a rear stand an spin the rear wheel by hand and maybe get 4 to 6 revolutions from the tire. After installing this the rear wheel turns so freely it spins just as many times as the front wheel does... I am not selling these. I have no axe to grind. I am helping one of my sponsors (www.aftermarketcycles.com) advertise a product that I truly have seen the positive results from.

I have had this setup on my race bike for 1 full season now and have not seen any major wear or any indication that I will need to get a new chain or sprocket for at least another full season. It's good quality stuff at a fair price that WILL free up a little bit of the horsepower that your ninja 250 had previously been wasting to overcome wheel/ driveline friction.

If you own a ninja 250 for the race track or street, I highly encourage you to contact Mark and get yourself a set today!
