EDR End of year thanks/report
Sorry for delay and this is just a quick thanks, since i am sicker than shxt! most that have known me for a while know I'm NEVER sick but when i do (once a year maybe) its usually horrible! It ALWAYS hits me the week after the final race. Somehow my body knows its over and therefor shuts down and forces me to be bored off my ass at home feeling like I'm doing nothing...but sometime your body forces ya to relax. Ill have a long winded rambling one later this week I'm sure.
I just wanted to thank EVERYONE in OMRRA first off. Without the board, members, and corner workers/volunteers, we would not even be racing! So THANKS!
Apologies to those that dont "get me" or my posting. I KNOW its over the top at times. but thats just me. been that way all 13+ years in omrra. Sometimes when a person is very passionate about a club and racing it comes across too strong. I really do care a LOT about OMRRA, if i didn't i'd not wanna be such a part of it. Again, i apologize for the personality i guess.
Huge thanks to my crew. Its now my 14th year of EDR Performance (started using the name back in 1993 for the dwarf car/mini sprint engines and street bikes i was building...opening the OFFICIAL EDR Performance in 1999...so 10th year coming up! Its come a LONG ways from say 1994 and no shop just a name and some tools, working till 4am in Jon Burtness's apartment garage to build his YZF750 (later went on to win #3 plate!) to now having 5+ Crew working with me in a 6,500sqft shop in the heart of downtown Portland and building over 40 race engines a year, helping support over 100 NW racers and thousands of street riders! My crew puts in a TONNNNN of time and effort into the shop and are ALWAYS ready and willing to help ANY racers that ask! We are ALWAYS at all the OMRRA events and also as many track days as we are invited(allowed) too. Huge thanks to Gary, Chris, Sarah, Nolan and those earlier in the year Gwynne and Chris. Special thanks to Jay, Barry, Butters, Adam, and Waller for the help after/before hours if i needed it! EDR Performance would not be where we are if not for a dedicated crew willing to put in the long hard work! THANK YOU!
Racers: I wanna thank EVERY OMRRA racer for 2008! Our competitors that kept us pushing and most importantly those racers that chose to work with EDR Performance for the 2008 season!
We have so far got almost 100% of our 2008 racers that have committed (a few might retire) for the 2009 season already! Thats HUGE IMO since it shows we must have done a great job for everyone and they wanna be apart of it again in 2009!

As you can see we have a HUGE list of racers that depended on and recieved help/support in 2008! This is JUST OMRRA! We have almost as many in WMRRA and a few in AFM, Wera and not to forget the great results we got in AMA from Misti Hurst and Josh Galster!
We had our BEST YEAR EVER! Our main goal for 2008 was to PROVE we have the most RELIABLE and RESULTS of any other shop around! We more than proved that this year and are wanting even more for 2009! We do have a few new riders to announce but have to wait for the right time with some of them, so stay tuned for more to come.
