I have a 2006 GSXR 600 bike that would make an excellent race or track bike. Asking $3700 or best offer.
Details:
-This bike is straight and in good condition, there is no title however a bill of sale will be made available to the buyer and you can run the VIN number at any local law enforcement office to verify that it is not stolen.
-I purchased this as a project bike because i had the spare parts laying around that were needed to finish putting it back together. i have never been on the track with it myself. ( however, I did race the same model bike all season long and loved the way these things handle, I also managed to take the podium several times - so the bike is more than capable to win novice races)
-It is currently naked, so I won't be posting any pics until I get the bodywork in and painted, but it looks just like every other GSXR 600 bike in track form.
--If you don't know what a GSXR 600 looks like, this might not be the right purchase for you and if you are serious about wanting a GSXR 600 race bike you will probably want to come take a good look at it in person rather than some pictures anyhow, right?
-Will have brand new bodywork installed and i am planning on painting it solid yellow with my other race bikes for next season, but if you want a different color and put cash in my hands before the paint happens, I will discount the price $150 and you can paint it any color that you want after you buy it.
-comes with the basic race setup: aftermarket clipons, exhaust, bodywork, rearsets, powercommander, safety wired, frame sliders...
-engine runs great, has around 12k street miles, and is bone stock... has never been a race bike in its past
-the bike is more than capable of scooting around the track at a brisk pace and I am sure it will plaster a smile on your face
-the bottom line is that this is a good bike at a very fair price and it will be ready to hit the track without any additional work or modifications
BONUS-- if you buy it before Christmas (notice that was spelled with a capital 'C') I will include fork internals that have been revalved and given some love by none other than Mr. Barry Wressel himself with KFG / GP Suspension !!!
Need another BONUS? -- I will throw in a set of take off dunlop slicks that are in excellent condition for free as well if you buy before Christmas (again with a capital 'C')
I am an honest guy and would be happy to answer any questions that you have.
If you are interested in this bike give me call (505) 917 -3349 or send me an email: tim_weig@yahoo.com
bike is located in Edmonds, Washington
**proceeds of this sale are going to fund my racing addiction **
(I would take a down payment and let you have a month or two to pay the remaining amount if needed or would consider partial trades as well, people with SV race bikes, fishing boats, dirt bikes, and supermotard trades please apply)
I wish I could post in the other parts of this forum or reply to other people's things for sale... maybe next year when I get an OMRRA license..
