Wow...what a week!!
And what a bike, my bone stock CBR 600rr is just incredible, no mechanical issues, Pirelli's are like glue, let's race!

SAT: nerves gone, thank goodness, now just focused on seeing those improvements from PSSR. I had too much going on in my head though, and a new set of leathers to really make me feel uncomfortable. I was all over the place first practice, and wasn't feeling it, knees were aching by the last lap. My mentors threw down the hammer and set me straight, gave me some things to work on...Second practice I felt more comfortable, found some friends to play with, stretch the suit a bit. I was running 1:26s. Oh well, I wasn't going to get bent out of shape about it, it's my birthday after all.

SUN: practice went well, found my grove, lines were solid, body was feeling good. I really wanted to see those early 1:20s and I decided that I really wanted Christine that day (she's the only other chick out there on the NV4/5 grid, and she's smooth, consistent and fast at solid 1:20).
I was passing guys I couldn't get at round 1 OMRRA. Holy crap, I'm actually smoking some guys..found that I loved stalking them through 1, setting them up in 2 and taking them outside 3, sealing the deal with some hard throttle between 3 and 4. What a thrill!
Figured out this weekend, that I can go so much faster.....

Race #1 was awesome! Ran a consistent 1:22, every lap. I was dicing it up in 3, picking guys off one by one, running mid pack!! I was squeling like a pig when I came in. Didn't get Christine, but I'll take it! I'm coming for ya girl :D

Race #2, rain race. My first tick towards graduation, just had to stay upright. Nonetheless, ran in the top five. Rain never bothered me much, but it was slippery

I need to thank everyone who support me, I am the luckiest girl out there!! Thank you Del, my rock. The best pit ever- Do Kim (will you marry me?), Jed, Mo, David from Dark Horse Racing. My mentors, Dustin and Mark, who teach and guide me so unselfishly. PSSR for being my school and family. Dave and Amber for helping out. And anyone else who thinks I'm great, you have made me a better person

I love this pic of my mentors, Dustin and Mark
